Dance and Lesson Locations
Our club dances are at St. Simons, and our weekly lessons are at the Congregational United Church of Christ. The two churches are just ten seconds apart, and both border the northern edge of the Northwest
Community Hospital complex.
From Chicago or Rockford: Find your way to the Arlington Heights Road exit (about mile marker seven) on the Northwest Tollway (I-90). Proceed north on Arlington Heights Road about 1½ miles to Central. Turn left on Central, then immediately veer right onto Kirchoff. The churches are about a half mile ahead on your left.
(Watch out: there's a large pine tree blocking your view of the sign for
St. Simons.)
From the south: Take I-355 to I-290 north. Cross the Northwest Tollway and take the Kirchoff Road exit. Turn right on Kirchoff and follow it to the apparent end at New Wilke Road.
Using the center lane, zigzag right then left back on to Kirchoff. The churches are about ½
mile ahead on your right.
From the north: If you're coming south on IL-53, there is no exit onto Kirchoff. Instead, exit eastward on
US 14, then turn right onto Wilke Road just beyond Arlington Park Racecourse. Follow Wilke south
about 1½ miles to Kirchoff, turn left, and the churches are
½ mile ahead on your right.
